BOGAA was established via Bauchi Oil and Gas Academy Law of 2022. The Academy took off on 22nd September, 2022 with the appointment of an Interim Management Committee.
The Academy currently operates from its temporary site in the Campus of ATAPOLY along Jos Road Bauchi. It runs a Post Graduate Certificate programme on Oil and Gas studies in conjunction with Schlumberger Training Institute of Texas, USA. The Programmes offered are Engineering Courses on the Upstream, Midstream and Downstream sectors of the Oil and Gas Industry.
